Rpc over http

By default it adds the (rpc)application directory to the default site.

I have a site called external that I want to use for rpc connections.

How can I have the rpc application directory in iis be installed under the new site I have created.

This was so easy in exchange 2003 now they took the feature away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I saw one post that was similiar but i couldnt get the commands to work

Not supported. You cannot move the RPC virtual directory away from the default virtual directory. The use of External sounds like you are using my instructions for using a single name certificate (or it could be a coincidence). With Windows 2008 you have no option but to use the default virtual directory.

I am using Windows Server 2008 + Exchange 2007 on the same machine.
I don't have any problem to use Autocover (RPC over HTTP)

make sure you turn the Outlook Anywhere to Enable
make sure you have a commerical certifiacte install for both domain name(exchange.abc.com and autodiscover.abc.com)
make sure you forward to port 80 and 443 to your exhange

It should be much easier than Exchange 2003.
