Hi,

I configured IMF on my SBS2003 with Exchange SP2. Its has been working over the weekend now and spam is filtered very good, few false detections. My setiings of SCL are 6 and archive, and 4 in junkfolder.

Question 1 :
Is it possible to create a whitelist ?
so false detections can be "corrected", and fall in the right mailbox.

Question 2 :
Is is possible to disable one user from the IMF filter ?
Everyone is very happy about spam being filtered, except for the manager, who is scared to death that mail will be lost or false detected and so slip out of his mailbox. so he wants all mail to fall in his mailbox (spam and good mails) so he misses nothing.

You might find below relatively new KB article interesting:

Exchange Server 2003 Intelligent Message Filter does not provide the functionality to exclude a particular recipient from anti-spam filtering:

Hi,

Thanks for the good article 912587. Installed the hotfix, and disabled the  manager's account from the IMF filter.  As for now he gets all his mail (spam included) back in his inbox.
So that works fine, problem 2 solved.

Anyone a hint, tip or trick, to solve question 1 ?
Make a whitelist for adresses that are allowed to come in.  Now i have few false detections, so i want to create a list of adresses or domains that are allowed to go trough the imf filter.
