Hi,

I would like to identify the exact version of Exchange Server installed in a machine by looking into the Registry. Just I want to confirm if the Exchange Server vesion is Exchange 2007/2010 or other. BTW, are the following Registry entries can be taken as a confirmatory evidence for my requirement [identifying exchange version] ?

For Exchange 2007:
==================
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\v8.0

For Exchange 2010:
==================
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14

1) Are the above keys enough for confirming the Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 installations? If not, then which Key can confirm them?
2) What Registry Keys can be used to confirm the installation of Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003 ?

Hoping to get reply for my the questions!

Many thanks,
Nesan Joseph R.
