Hello,

I have a user where his unread count for Outlook inbox is the same as the total messages in his inbox. His inbox shows 2100 messages and the unread count next to Inbox folder is also 2100. For some reasons when he reads a message the unread count does not change. This is user also has a blackberry and setup on Blackberry Enterprise Server...not sure if that is the problem.

Fixed the problem...it was the option between showing total count for all emails in inbox or unread emails.

Right click on Inbox folder>Click on Properties and select option to show all email count or unread count.

I guess doing more research before posting is not a bad idea....
