Hi Guys,

I currently have my message size limits for send and receive to the default value of 10mb in organizational global settings - transport settings. I also have message size limits for both the send and receive connectors set to the default value of 10mb.

Is it possible to allow only one mailbox to have its message size limit increased to 20mb? If I go the the user mailbox properties and increase his /her message size limit through there to 20mb, will this work? or will the default value of 10mb in the global settings transport settings, send connector and receive connector override the 20mb value set in the user mailbox properties?

Please advise.

You can set Mail Size Limits on individual mailboxes with Set-Mailbox (MaxReceiveSize / MaxSendSize / RecipientLimits)

Yes, you can set the mail size limit to a higher value on the desired mailbox, and this will not be overridden by any other settings.
This work in the same way your Group Polices work.
The object at the lower level of the hirarchy will take precedence.
