Using Exchange 2000 on windows 2000 server Am trying to move mailboxes from 1 mailbox store to another mailbox store in the same storage group in Exchange through the move wizard in Active directory. Regardless of which user's mailbox I move (when they have closed Outlook XP and logged off their PC), I keep getting the following error; Task Summary: Move Mailbox Started: 05 October 2005 15:58:40 Finished: 05 October 2005 15:58:41 Results: Error: Connecting to source server. CN=xxxxxx\, xxxxxxx,OU=xxxxxxx- xxxxx,OU=xxxxxxx,OU=xxxxxxxxx,DC=xxxxxxxxxx,DC=xxx,DC=xx: The information store could not be opened. The logon to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer failed. MAPI 1.0 The users have no problem opening their email in Outlook, sending and receiving both internal and external email. Cannot find any useful support on the net. Can anyone assist me?

Really basic but try this on just 1 account- give the account you are using to do this move full control of the user account- then try- I had a similiar issue using exmerge and even though the account I was using was an enterprise admin that resolved the issue- if you can move the account than give that account explicit rights at the root lvl of your domain- You can also experment and try to use exmerge-

I got that error when trying to do it from my XP workstation using ESM. TS'ed into the server, ran it from there and it worked.
