Looking for some help to solve this issue I am currently building a new exchange server to replace my existing Exchange 2003 server an I’m having a really hard time getting past this issue. See error below Thanks Organization Preparation Failed Error: An error occurred. Error code was 3238230758 messages was Extending the schema in the Active Directory failed. Please consult the error log LDIF.ERR in your TEMP directory...” Elapsed Time: 00:00:32

What does the log file say? Don't post the entire thing, just the interesting bit with the error. Simon.

>> Add the Exchange server 2007 server name and IP address to the Hosts.txt file. >> In the Active directory schema snap-in, locate the ‘container’ object and selected the properties. In the relationship tab, checke the Auxiliary Classes and find the msExchBaseClass, if this is missing.... add the msexchBaseClass to that, and rerun the command /prepareAD again. Thanks, Suda
