I am trying to install the anti spam agents. I the exchange managment shell and cannot CD to the scripts directory. I am typing in from the C:\> prompt:

cd c:\program files\microsoft\exchange server\v14\scripts

I am receiving the following error: Set-Location : A positional paramater cannot be found that accepts the argument 'files\microsoft\exchange.

I can change directories without a problem to any other path that does not have a folder name with two words seperated by a space as in "program files".

Thanks in advance!

have you tried putting the path in quotations as in "c:\program files\microsoft\exchange server\v14\scripts"? I actually just start typing the path and use the tab complete to fill the rest in as in c:\program<TAB>

Hi,

The "'" was missing at the beginning and end. By using the tab to finish the command it incerted it automatically. When I typed the following in it worked correctly.

'c:\program files\microsoft\exchange server\v14\scripts'

Thank You Very Much!

Hi,

I have rebuilt this Windows 2008 R2 Server 5 times now. Each time Exchange 2010 has acted differently once complete. This time I cannot install the AntiSpam Agents as I could on the first 4 builds. I decided to try Forefront for Exchange 2010. I read that this disables the built in AntiSpam agents anyway. Does this product do a good job? Currently I use Postini for Exchange AntiVirus and AntiSpam. It works great. My users hate having to go into the Postini quarantine via web page. I was hoping that Forefront put suspected spam in the outlook junk email folder. From what I am reading that is not the case. Are there any antispam products that will put suspected spam in the users junk email folder?

Thanks,
Scott
