Hello All
We have a small office of 4 computers and one server(W2K)
We need to share a calender so we are going to purchase Exchange 5.5 standard..not enterprise

What antivirus/anti spam can we use on the server???

Can anyone direct us to websites that may help with installations on a W2k MAchine???

Are there any pitfalls we need to be aware of???

Any suggestions, recommendations will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Some tips:

a) Do not install Outlook as well as Exchange.
b) Do not use Terminal Services (esp. App mode)
c) You need a domain set up. Can be NT4 or 2000/3
d) You need DNS set up (or access to an existing one)
e) Most versions of Outlook 98 and up should work. Careful of Outlook 2003 - patchs required.

There are loads of 3rd party programs for AV and Spam. We use McAfee Groupshield and SpamAssasin.
GFI MailEssentials is popular too.

We have a dynamic ipaddress for our domain controller...but we have DNS setup internally

Our email is actually done through our webhosting company. what we wanted to do was have the email forwarded from there to our exchange server

Is this what you mean???
