Hello,
My experience with Exchange 2000 SP2 CLUSTER was that the mail service did not work on the server. The event viewer didn't containĘs any error message. After moving the Exchange Server to another node, the mail service worked properly, but after moving back the virtual Exchange Server to the original node the error still. When I increase the diagnostic logging the following events appears:
Event Type: Information

Computer: NODEA
Description:
Process INETINFO.EXE (PID=1504). The Configuration Domain Controller has been changed to dc1.local.

User: N/A
Computer: NODEB

Process INETINFO.EXE (PID=1504). DSAccess lost contact with domain controller dc2.local. Error was 80040951 (). DSAccess will attempt to reconnect with this domain controller when it is reachable.

According to the events the Exchange loses the connection with the Domain Controller(s), the reason of which I donĘt know. The connection, however, is stable all the time.
Best Regards
