We have a MS Exchange 2003 server running on Windows Server 2003.  Over the weekend, we installed a MS Exchnage 2007 server.  I moved one account from the MS Exchange 2003 server to the Exchange 2007 server and started testing.  From the Exchange 2007 account, I can send to an external email account (gmail, hotmail, etc, etc) and I can receive email from an external email account OR from an account on the internal Exchange 2003 server.  However, for whatever reason, when I try to send an email from the account on the Exchange 2007 system to an account on the Exchange 2003 server it never comes through.

Am I missing some send connector?  Thank you.

I am having the same issue.
-SBS2003 domain
-Installed Exchange2007 sp1
-Moved a mailbox to Exchange2007
-Tested outbound with Exchange2007 account = working
-Tested inbound mail to domain working to SBS2003 but the mailbox on E2007 = Failed
-Mail is sitting at SBS2003 Exchange routing connector.
-Telnet to Exchange2007 with EHLO working from SBS2003
-What is needed to get mailflowing to E2007?

I ended up getting it to work by setting up a routing group on my MS Exchange 2003 server.
