Hello all,
I ran ESEUTIL utility with d (defrags) and p (repair) to repair my priv.edb. Everything run successful, but after I got the exchange server (5.5) up online the entire old version outlook like 97 and 2000 seem to have a problem. The inbox acknowledged the number of emails (ex: 115 emails) but will only displace those emails (ex: 6 emails) after the exchange server got back up online again. I have some user with outlook 2003 and seem like everything fine.
Please help, I try to contact Microsoft with they told me that they don�t support 5.5 anymore.
Any help will really appreciate

An ESEUTIL repair is just about the most destructive things you can do to an Exchange database, it almost always causes data loss.

Did you research the problem and try everything else before you ran the repair?

Have you got a good online backup of your database before you ran repair on it?
