We are using Exchange Server 2003 SP1, I seem to be having an issue where random emails for one recipient (call them user1) get sent to the intended recipient, and they get sent to another recipient (call them user2). I have used the Message Tracking Center and it shows an event for 'Message Delivered Locally to multiple recipients' but I cannot figure out why that is happening. Is there some way to track down why its being sent to multiple recipients? When I check the header file for the email that is sent to the unintended recipient (user2), the only email address listed is the intended recipients email address (user1), therefore it doesnt appear that its because both recipients are on the original email. This also only seems to happen with external emails. The unintended recipient (user2) has never received an internal email that was addressed only to the original recipient(user1). Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

check if there are any rules set in outlook. or the email has been set to autoforward on the server.
