Howdy, sorry if I'm a bit green and display it with my questions or phrasing but I've come to ask for a hand. If I've put this in the wrong section, my apologies.

I'm currently running Exchange 2010 and I'm trying to set up a way for a small group of my users to be able to send and receive emails from a second email address. I came to the conclusion that the best way to do this would be to create a distribution group and then through AD grant the users Send As permissions... however this doesn't seem to work. The advice I've read so far said to give it time to propagate, which I have (about 24 hours actually) and/or restart the Exchange Information Store process (did that) but still no joy. The message that pops when I try to Send As the distribution group is:
"You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so. Please make sure you're sending on behalf of the correct sender, or request the necessary permission. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk."

Any help? I'm sure the problem is shallow to at least one of the mighty Exchange wizards/witches on here.
