Hello there,

I need a help if someone can provide me to setup Exchange 2007 single server for production use on internet.

Basically I need simple things, to send and receive emails which should be a s/mime based.

Services which should be allowed on server would be IMAP, POP3, SMTP and ActiveSync (to allow access to mobile devices such BlackBerry - BES Enterprise Account support and apple iPhone since i'm planning to setup later BlackBerry Enterprise Services as well where Exchange will be a e-mail back end service)

So far I made local installation of exchange in local network which is working and made self-signed CA certificates (Root certificate and mail certificate which is signed by first certificate for local use) and replace default exchange certificate which is applied during the installation of ms exchange installation.

Since I don't have much experiences can somebody give me step by step instructions how I can setup this server to work on global, internet, use as production based single server?

I know that I need to get:
- static IP address from my ISP

- buy a web domain and to setup probably at least MX record for mail server and

- to set on my local router traffic forwarding to this local server from out side traffic

right? what and how everything goes else?

I'm using as server, MS Windows 2008 R2 Standard Edition with all updates and MS Exchange 2007.

Any help is welcome!

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I was looking on Article's and FAQ but I didn't find that somebody made already simple how to deploy MS Exchange 2007 in way of do this, click this, type this.
