I am trying to set up a mail relay so one of our sales engineers can pick up his email whilst away from the office. I already have OWA running but he wants to download his emails into Outlook. Previously I have set up a Tiscali or Hotmail address as a custom recipient and then set the normal mailbox to deliver messages to it in delivery options.

On this occasion I wanted to relay mail to a btconnect.com email address but I keep getting a 550 not permitted error when I try to email from as external account throught our server. If I email from my own address in the same domain then it relays ok. If I email from another btconnect.com external account it works ok.

Our domain name is hosted by BT and we have a BT router.

Any ideas anybody?

Thanks
