i am looking for an add-in that will allow me to further control users mail storage. For example, I would like to automatically delete everything in someones deleted items folder that is over 30 days old. I would like to delete Inox items older than 90 days. Finally, I would like an archival system for all email for legal reasons. If I can find 1 product to do all of this - that would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This funcitonality is built in to MS Exchange 2000.
Look into Mailbox Manager (Under recipient policies in system manager) for the mailbox management.
In the "Mailbox Store" properties under system manager, you can set "archive all messages sent and received"

That is great for half of my problems. Now I am most concerned with long term storage. I am required to keep all mail for a 7 year period. What products can I use that will hold the data? I would prefer one that has a nice interface to serach the archive when necessary.

KVSinc do a product valled Enterprise Vault that is designed for requirements such as you have. I'm not connected with the company, and I've not used it, so I can't say how it performs.

Hi. You can use Exmerge, with this tool you can create Filters to Delete old Messages, with this tool you can Export the Private Store to PSTs Files then you can Backup this file, as a normal file.

Someone earlier in this thread already suggested Enterprise Vault from KVS.
I think Enterprise Vault should more than meet your requirements. You can find the details at www.kvsinc.com
All the best
