we are using exchange 2000, we are not leaving a copy of emails on server all are downloading to pst.
but when i am seeing in system manager mail boxes it it is showing me 10 items are in inbox and size is 40 mb, then i have checked my mailbox in outlook mail box is empty.
then i checked the properties of the mailbox folder in folder size it is showing 40 mb but mails are not there. why.

hi mate,

Check in the OWA whether you are able to see those mails. If not i feel like whitspace issue which can recovered by offline defrag or move mailbox method
