Hi all,

I have searched for an answer in all the posts here, and on another places but i didnt found it.

My problem is whenever i try to delete a mailbox for a user, it gives me the following error :

"Task Summary: Delete Mailbox

Started: Thursday, April 14, 2005 9:25:32 AM

Finished: Thursday, April 14, 2005 9:25:41 AM

Results:

Error: Deleting the mailbox

CN=johnSmith,OU=x,OU=y,OU=z,DC=nwtraders,DC=com:

The action could not be completed because the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is unavailable. Be sure the service is running and you have network connectivity to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.
"

Knowing that everything is alright, users can send and recieve e-mails, network is up of course, and IS is running.

Any help will be highly apreciated.

Locate JohnSmith Within Active directory users and computers. Then right click him, select exchange tasks and remove exchange attributes.

Right click the mail store the mailbox is in and run cleanup agent.

Then try deleting the mailbox.
