Hi,

We have a requirement for users in our organisation, sending to a particular external domain to encrypt mail with a commercial certificate. There are probably only 4-5 users that will need to communicate with the external domain. What would be the best way to do this, without affecting all of our other internal users, and how do we make sure only mail to this one domain is encrypted?

Environment is Windows 2003 server, Exchange 2003 SP2, and clients run XP XP3 with Outlook 2007

Actually encrypt the email or just the connection (tunnel)?

Nope, tons harder. You will need something client-side for that. Search for some Outlook encryption tool like PGP or whatever.
