I am currently having some authentication issues after moving my Exchange 2007 Mailbox and Hub Transport roles to server 2008R2.  I am migrating from Exchange 2007SP1 on 2 Server 2003R2 servers, the first running Mailbox and Hub Transport roles and the second running the CAS role.  After installing Exchange 2007SP3 Hub Transport and Mailbox roles on Server 2008R2, setting up the Send and receive connectors and moving the OAB, I moved 1 mailbox over to the new server.  Outlook 2007 automatically picked up the move and connected to the new exchange server, however it keeps asking for authentication whenever I open Outlook.  If I put in my credentials it goes away and doesn't pop up again until I restart outlook, but even stranger if I cancel the authentication window it also goes away and doesnt boither me again until I restart Outlook, and it still updates email calendar etc... (down in the bottom right hand notification area it still states 'Need Password').  Has anyone else had this issue?  Is it because my CAS is still Exchange 2007SP1 on a Server 2003R2 box or is IIS7 wrongly configured?  I thought it may be to do with the OAB, but why are the clients with mailboxes on the the old server not getting it then?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I found an article on installing Exchange 2007 on Server 2008 R2. There a couple things you need to do other then just selecting IIS and the management tools like RSAT-ADDS. I will see if I can find the article again and will post it here.
