Hi

I am in the process of moving my public folders from 2003 to 2007. However even though its shows as being replicated in 2003 they do not show up in 2007. I have tried both using 2003 system manager and the script in 2007 to move the folders but neither seems to work. Could anybody tell me what tools/logging i could use to find out why they are showing as replicated but not appearing in 2007. My offline address book moved fine.

Thanks for any help

Compton

hi mate,

I would suggest you to increase the diagnostic logging on both the end and then try to analyze the root cause

Hi
Thanks for your help but unfortunately i am still having problems. I could not get much information out of the logs that was useful. Since then i have also found that the system folders seem to be a bit screwy with it showing up several offline address books that i do not seem to be able to delete.
My idea in a way was to start again by removing the public folder (as i still have one on my old server) and then starting again with replication. However i can not delete the public folder as it still thinks it holds replicas that i am unable to delete.
Is their anyway to force the removal or any other way forwards. I also has a look in adsiedit and tried to reset the system folders according to microsoft suggestion but it would not let me change the guid

Any help would be appreciated?

Well, you can remove the store via ADSIEdit but I would recommend going through some public folder troubleshooting guides (there are several out there) or even calling Microsoft PSS so you give yourself more opportunity to remove things as cleanly as possible.
