Dear Experts, I am migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. I have my new Exchange 2010 server in the same domain as my 2003 server. Currently I have a certificate for webmail.mydomain.co.uk installed on my Exchange 2003 server. I was going to buy a SAN certificate containing the internal FQDN of my new Exchange 2010 server (servername.mydomain.local), however I have read that you can no longer purchase certificates for internal FQDNs. Also I am hoping to do my migration in stages, one department at a time, rather than a big bang approach. So, I'm trying to get my head around what order I need to do things in. Is there any point in buying a SAN certificate for Exchange 2010 nowadays or shall I just migrate my certificate from 2003 to 2010? Also, can I do a staged migration for mobile users, or do all of them in one lump? Thanks, Toby

In order to migrate exchange server 2003 to exchange server 2010, users need to have adequate permissions and also require technical skill. To make this process easy and fast, there are some third party tools available online. One such program is here which allows the users to easily migrate public folders as well as private folder database to exchange server 2010: http://bit.ly/1TrUhQF
