Hello! Maybe, someone already had such a problem, so please wouldn't you advise?
I've got: Exchange 5.5 running on WinNT 4.0 (SP6) PDC
I need: to set up Windows 2000 Server and Exchange 2000 Server on a new computer to replace the old one
So, we've got only 1 domain controller in our network and the task is to replace the old computer and old software with new computer and new software.
Is there a way to set the computers to be physically connected to the same network, i.e. to prevent WinNT from being a PDC (it maybe a little off topic, sorry), and to move users accounts, mailboxes, public folders and Exchange configuration from 5.5 running on WinNT to 2000 running on Win2000? If it's impossible two these servers to be connected with the same network because of some sort of conflict, maybe it's possible to use some intermediate files, or some specific command-line keys to perform such a procedure.
Thank you. Please feel free to mail me to last@ido.ulstu.ru I'll be very appreciated for any help
