Hello: I am moving from a SBS Exchange 2K to Windows 2K3 and exchange 2K3. And I am wondering if anyone can tell me how I can export the mail boxes for all my users (about 50 users) from the Exchange 2K server and import them to the exchange 2K3 server. Is there a way to do this? Also how about exporting the configuration settings from 2K and using them to configure the 2K3 server? Any help at all would be appreciatted thanx!

If the servers are in the same domain and the same Exchange organisation, you can use AD Users and Computers, exchange Tasks, Move Mailbox to migrate mail from one Exchange server to another. Otherwise you can use the ExMerge tool to migrate mailboxes.

Use Exmerge, very reliable and quick solution. If not then you would have to do a lot of fighting over the issue to get the mailboxes to the new box. XGURU

if you go either method, would you have to point users to the new box if they have outlook setup already?

Maybe, on recent versions of outlook, it can try to auto detect which server the user's mailbox is on for you.
