Ok, there are is one huge issue I am facing now which is
getting prepped to do a staged migration for O365. One of the steps is
deploying RPC over HTTPS. Problem is we have 2 people still using their
iphones with activesync. I don't want to mess up their phones receiving
emails by trying to deploy RPC over HTTPS with No front end server. I
started going through a tutorial and installed the RPC over HTTPS proxy
After that I can't join phones any longer to their corporate email but
Active sync admin says they are still syncing. That scared me into stopping
The bad is that I am still awaiting O365 fast track support which I have
been waiting for 23 days so far. Apparently everyone has to wait 30 days.

Will this TN article work for getting Outlook Anywhere up and running.

I don't think you should have any issues with adding RPC Http. This is a completely different function of Exchange, uses its own site in IIS, and even uses different ports to access Exchange.

I am actually in the process of doing the same thing and one thing that I have run into is after the mailbox is migrated I am unable to get Outlook to autoconfigure. Part of this is due to the fact that 2003 does not have AutoDiscover, and the information that Office 365 puts in after the mailbox is moved and converted to a Mail Enabled User, do not seem to pass to Outlook without it.

If anyone can assist with this, I think that mspoula is going to run into this as well, depending on the size of the migraiton.
