Thanks John,

I just want to know how to install Exchange 2013 in parallel with Lotus notes. for example we will be having a domain name abc.com.pk. if i install Exchange 2013 then how to mitigate risk of mail flow issue between Exchange and Lotus notes as mail box will be on lotus notes. or some mail boxes will be lotus notes and some on exchange before migrating all mailboxes.

need guidance please.

Unfortunately migrating using PST is a all at once migration with no coexistence. You have to migrate everything at once and also it will not migrate your distribution groups, contacts or resources!

I do not recommend you do this - I recommend you perform coexistence and migrate using 3rd party tools. They will allow you to have both environments running simultaneously without interruption.

Check out tools like BitTitan MigrationWiz or Dell Coexistence and Migration tools for Exchange. My advice is to use a partner company that will help design this migration for you because it can get complicated.
