I have a two server Exchange 2000 enterprise. One of the servers ran exchange 2000 and the other was an Exchange 5.5. The domain is Windows 2000 native with the addition of a domain controller that is Windows 2003. I migrated the mailboxes from the Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000. I uninstalled Exchange 5.5 on the one server and I am left with one exchange 2000 server. However, I am unable to change the Exchange 2000 server from mixed to native mode. The option is grayed out. I believe it is because there is some leftover piece of the Exchange 5.5 server somewhere but I don't know where. I used the ADSIEDIT tool but with no success. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tinsoldier

No I didn't. But I read the article and it worked a charm. Thanks for your assistance.
