When I try to move a mailbox from Exchange 2003 Server (Cluster) to the new Exchange 2007 Server, I get this error Anybody seen this before /Olsen [PS] C:\>Move-Mailbox -Identity EXCHUSER -TargetDatabase "E2K7SRV\Mailbox Database" Confirm Are you sure you want to perform this action? Found the source of the error 'Disable MAPI Clients=-6.0.0;7.0.0-10.0.6514' on the SourceServer is set http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=288894 needs a update, Exchange 2007 use MAPI v8.x

Hi, I need some more information on this to give you the best solution to this issue you are having. Can you check and let me know theoutlook version you are using and also let me know when exactly you are getting this issue. This issue could have a fix on it and I can probably direct you to that if you can give me some more light on this issue.

Hi Geeksneak, I tried this but didn't worlk for me. I amd trying to move Exchange 2003 mailbox to exchange 2007 mailbox using the wizard, and tried it from both servers. I get following error: Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:01 test user Failed Error: Error was found for test user (test@benelux.local) because: Error occurred in the step: Opening source mailbox. Failed to open mailbox with error: The operation failed., error code: -1056749262 Exchange Management Shell command attempted: '3da8da27-9626-4f26-a963-76b62774cd39' | move-mailbox -TargetDatabase 'CN=Mailbox Database,CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=BNLXEXCH02,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=BENELUX,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=benelux,DC=local' Elapsed Time: 00:00:01 I used the administrator account which holds following roles: Account operators Administrators Domain Admins Domain Users Enterprise Admins Exchange Domain Servers Exchange Organization Administrators Schema Admins I also checked Olson's sollution by checking the registry on the Exchange 2003 server but there was no reg. key saying "disable MAPI......." Hello everyone, Just for the record I get the same error as Olsen and Geeksneak while trying to move mailboxes as part of transition to exchange 2007 from exchange 2003. I tried a number of workarounds. No luck yet. I am unable to move any mailboxes at all. Is there anyone out there with the solution to this problem? Edin
