Is it possible to move mailboxes on a 2003 server in one domain to a 2007 server in a different domain?

Amit, are you sure you read the question ? It states.

Is it possible to move mailboxes on a 2003 server in one domain to a 2007 server in a different domain?

That basically means same Organization same forest - not 2 different ones as per what the article states.

Its simple, please have a simple trust relation between both domains (i am not sure but to be on a safer side for it). Once, done you would be required to create a Routing Group Connector (Since E2k3 and E2k7 are be default placed on two different Routing Groups).

Once thats done, confirm mail flow between both servers, once thats done simply move mailboxes across using shell (move-mailbox cmdlet)
