Hi, I have moved some mailboxes onto a new temp exchange server 2003/sp2. When I go to the address for the temp/new server ie http://newdomainname/exchange and try to log in I get the prompt 3 times then access denied...It records an event: Event Category:    Logon/Logoff, Unknown user name or bad password. I know the username/password are correct..They were able to log onto the old exchange owa...anything i'm missing with these mailboxes being moved?
Cheers

1) Check using Outlook if you are able to access the mailbox
2) Wasssup with the newdomainname - have you move the user to the new domain ?
3) Check the user properties to check if the user has moved to the new server
4) Check if you see the user on the new server in ESM
5) Try logging on the new server using http://localhost/exchange and putting in credentials of the user.
6) If need be - reset its password.

Hi, the new url was http://newservername.samedomain/exchange. The user cannot logonto http://localhost/exchange. How can I check if user has moved to new server (number 3) In ESM the mailbox is on the new server. I have reset the password...Is it an IIS thing/permission?
Cheers
