Attempting to move mailboxes from Exchange 2K to 2K7 and rec. the following error:

1056749241">Error occurred in the step: Preparing mailbox to be moved. Failed to copy basic mailbox information with error: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service could not find the specified object.

Hi Webcci,

It seems from the error codes that you are moving a mailbox which is not actually a mailbox or that mailbox is corrupted.

But there is one more suspicion, if this mailbox is newly created then send some mails to this account and then move.

Are you getting this error with all the account or some specific accounts.
