Hello everyone, forum noob here. One of my offices has a 2003 SBS server with about 52GB of mail in Exchange. Unfortunately the server doesn't have enough drive space to allow expansion to the 75GB max so I'm getting ready to install a new drive and do a move. Never attempted this before so I guess I'm looking for any tips/caveats/etc. Also, any ideas how long it should actually take to move a file of that size? It's a Dell PE 1950, 4GB ram, SAS hard drives. Thanks

Pretty easy process. Do a full backup of the Exchange server using your Exchange aware application (probably ntbackup.exe). Then go into Exchange System Manager and drill down to the store.
Follow: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821915 to move the files.
