I want to know if it is possible to do this?  We have an oppertunity to replace an againg pop3 server with Exchange 2007. The server actually hosts mail for SEVERAL different domains.  Each domain has their own IT staff and is essentially a seperate company.  There is no cross copmany AD integraton.  Can I create a single Exchange 2007 for all the domains?  Would I simply create trusts to each domain from the exchange hosting domain.. then create linked accounts to their mailbox?  This does not provice any ability for the remote domains to do any admin work? change passwords? nada right? Infact the mbx account can be different then re remote users windows account?   The plan is to move away from pop mail and use only OWA as the client.
There really is no way  a remote domain can even add a user to exchange? is administration even possible without requesting it from the HOST domain?

Hi Gradyvogt,

Have you thought of Hosted Exchange Services? Since it is only OWA you want to use, this might be a viable option and each domain can have their administrators managing these accounts?
