We recently bought a few more domains to add to our orriginal domain. In the Internet Mail Service Routing tab I added the new domains to route to Inbound. The ISP has been notified to update MX records and all of that. The problem is is that sometimes mail will come through using the new domain names and sometimes it wont. Any Ideas? Thanks.

I assume you have added the new domains to mailboxes you want to recieve email for that domain?
Can you provide a bit more detail on the issue?

Hmmm, yep you assumed I added the domains and I did not, just added them to my email and they all tested good. The documents I got from microsoft never mentioned having to do that. Do you know of any utility to add all the email addresses. Right now I am looking at manually adding 3 extra domains to everyones mailbox. That could take a while. Thanks.
Ooops, should have done futher testing. I just added the other domains to a few other mailboxes and tried sending mail to them, but they all bounce back. I even tried stopping and starting the services on the exchange server. I dont understand why all 4 domains will work on my mailbox but not anybody else's. Actually 2 of the 4 seem to be working, but regardless there are still and extra 2 working on my mailbox than anyone elses. [ December 18, 2003, 10:56 PM: Message edited by: Anti ]

Yes there is a tool to update all the mailboxes at once. You need to build a CSV file (using proper formatting) and import the updates.
Read the Exchange 0n-line help for more details. If you have questions about this process let me know
On to the other issue you can send email to 2 domains on some of the mailboxes but on yours all 4 work?
Well that rules out a routing problem (for the most part) Need more details on your site setup if possible .. are all users on the same server? are the users an the IMC on the same server? What error are you getting for the two failed emails?

Try this...
set the reroute for all your other domains to be your primary domain.
Sent this before where the domain in question is for testing but not used by the outside world as it were had to route to the primary domain.
