Hello,

I know you can have multiple smarthosts.  I just need to get an understanding.  Are thoughts are we like to have two smarthosts.  One will be used as the primary and the second one will only be used if the primary fails, is that something that can be set up?  I do not want to have them both working at the same time, only in the result of a failure.

Thoughts?

Cheers

In the Smarthost field, use the format [IPaddr1],[IPaddr2]
Each address is enclosed in square brackets "[" and "]" and separated by commas.

Just out of interest:
Exchange will only use the first smart host in the list, if it's available?
