I changed the default LDAP port from 389 to 390 inside of Exchange Server Administrator in Exchange 5.5. After changing the LDAP port, I stopped all Exchange services. When I tried to Start them it comes back with an error 1068, not recognizing the account used for log in. Also, now when I attempt to open Microsoft Exchange Administrator it prompts me "What server would you like to connect to?", like there is no longer a default profile. I'm in the process of prepping this NT4 Exchange 5.5 box for transition to Exchange 2003 and ran into this issue. I'm not an Exchange expert. Without my being able to open up Exchange Administrator how would I go about changing the LDAP port back to 389 to at least get mail back up and functioning? This particular box is a backup DC in a 2003 Active Directory domain. I sincerely appreciate anyone's assistance. PC
