I am having a problem with my network. I have a network with 2 domains on the same subnet. Each domain has their own Exchange Server and Domain Controller. However only one domain has a DNS I use. The secondary(test) domain uses the DNS Server of the main domain. I have use Barracuda to restrict access to the domains. The firewall has a Hole punched into it and then points to the Barracuda. The problem  i am having with my second domain is that when it queries the DNS for a address to my Main Domain it is querrying the address that the Barracuda uses for the Outside. My Outside address is 66..... my internal Address is 192.... When my test domain asks the DNS server it responds with the 66 address. I have gotten around this with my UNIX boxes by simply telling them to look at the hosts file first. With my Test Domain exchange I manually addded a entry for my barracuda to point to the internal address but it still looks for the external address. How can I get my Exchnage to use HOST file first?

I don't think you can as a hosts file does not have MX records.

If you want different results then you need to use a split DNS system so that you can enter your own DNS entries. If it is a test domain there is nothing to stop you from using your own DNS entries for that domain. Simply add hosts for any web sites, remote hosts and an MX record.
