Test envoirenment ...

I am trying to generate a request from one of my Hub Servers as follows ...

New-ExchangeCertificate -GenerateRequest -SubjectName "C=CA, O=E2K7, CN=webmail.e2k7.local" -IncludeAcceptedDomains -DomainName mail.contoso.com -Path c:\certificates\webmail.e2k7.local.req

When I do the above command nothing happens ...and no file is created in the mentioned path? What am I doing wrong.

Advise Please.

hi mate,
Even i am not able to understand why you are not able to create a certificate but this is the following command :
New-ExchangeCertificate -GenerateRequest -SubjectName "c=us, o=contoso corp, cn=mail1.contoso.com" -IncludeAcceptedDomains -Path c:\certificates\mail1.contoso.com.req

I believe you are following this technet : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998840(EXCHG.80).aspx

Now first we need to understand whether the normal certificate creation is able to create if you see the above link it is giving procedure on how to create a certificate from basic to advance but try the basic one.

R you trying to create SAN Cert?
If that is the case : see my blog may be this can help you : http://exchangeserverinfo.com/2008/03/20/network-load-balance-for-hub--cas--exchange-2007.aspx
