I am trying to create NewEdgeSubscription role. But it ask me to create xml file first. So i have gone to Exchange Management Shell
and typed. New-EdgeSubscription and then it ask me for filename: and i type newedge1.xml but its not creating any xml file...anybody help on how to create NewEdgeSubcription file by command....please specify exact command

You need to create the Edge subscription file on the Edge Transport server. You do this by issuing below CMDlet in the Exchange Management Shell:

New-EdgeSubscription -Filename c:\EdgeSubscriptionFile.xml

You then copy this file to the Hub Transport server, where you then can import it via the Edge Subscriptions tab under Organization Configuration > Hub Transport.
