Hi to all,

I am new to Exchange. I tried to install Exchange 2007 on windows server 2003 and succeeded. But I am again reinstalled on Windows server 2008 R2. Now when I click on server configuration an old Exchange server name also appearing in the server dialog although I installed win server 2008 on the same machine after formatting it. I already have domain working on win 2008 server.

Kindly help me in this regard.

You need to delete the server from Adsiedit.msc

Start...Run...Adsiedit.msc...Configuration...Services...Microsoft Exchange...You ORG...Administrative Group...Exchange Administrative Group...Servers...Delete the OLD server.

Cheers,
