Hi, I have finished a transition from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007. Now I have only exchange 2007 servers and Outlook 2000, 2003 and 2007 clients in my environment. After I have removed the last Exchange 2000 server, when I use the Scheduling Assistant, I can't view informations about all attendees. I receive "No free/busy information could be retrieved". On exchange server the following event is logged in the application log:
Error updating public folder with free/busy information on virtual machine xxxxxxx. The error number is 0x80004005. Thank you. Simone

Outlook clients older than 2007 need a Public Folder to distribute the Free/Busy via.
Is your Public Folder database up and running? Via the powershell enumerate the Public Folder, do you see the Free/Busy folder?

From what I can see from the powershell output it looks ok, at least the same as ours and our migration is complete with a mix of clients (2003 & 2007).
I had issues early on and the first thing to look at was who can't see what?
Outlook 2007 -> Outlook 2007 Outlook 2003 -> Outlook 2007 Outlook 2007 -> Outlook 2003
Once this is known it might be easier to determine the issue.
OK. In production we have all Outlook 2000 client. Only my client is Outlook 2007. The problem occurs between Outlook 2000 client and also between my client. I have reported that the unavailable informations are referred to users that are migrate from ex 2000 to ex 2007. The information of new users or new room or equipment mailboxes are displayed correctly. Furthermore, if I use OWA 2007 to access to mailboxes all informations for all users are available. Thank you in advance. Simone
