I am running Exchange 2007 SP1. For some reason the Default GAL displays all users instead of just mail enabled users. We have several user accounts for people who do not need email, such as forklift operators, etc, and they all show up in the GAL. I've been researching this issue on and off for weeks but haven't been able to find a resolution. It doesn't seem possible to edit the default GAL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you sure they aren't mail enabled?
The default GAL is built from AD objects. You can only manipulate it by using hiding the accounts from the GAL.
Were they ever mail enabled? If you look at the objects in adsiedit.msc do they have Exchange attributes?

Simon.
