Hi All, I know that device support comes in the form of DU updates, the latest being DU4. As far as I can see this has been released quite a few years ago (2003). Are there no more planned or is this done in some other way now? Thanks! Jacques

That is pretty much ignored. Simply enable support for unknown devices and carry on using it. It was almost impossible for Microsoft to keep up. Simon.

Hi, that is a pitty though, because we were looking at enabling it to have some kind of a strategy in which devices we are willing to support. Anyway, thanks for your help Jacques

There is no mechanism within Exchange 2003 of controlling what device can access the server. It is either all or nothing. Even with Exchange 2007 the most you can do is a permitted list on a per user list, which means the user has to connect with a supported device to find out its ID. Simon.
