I am troubleshooting some mobile mail issues on Exchange 2003 SP2.
Right now Im just trying to use IE7 to connect to the /oma. When I do I get this error:
System error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.

Also this gets logged:

This is configured as a front end server, but Im not sure how to fix this.

I did get it working but I would have to disable SSL and Im not ready to do that. Now I need to find another way to get email to users.

Hi,

Have you checked it on a windows mobile device ?
Please check if the certificate is OK and else fix this.

I added it but I believe that because OWA is on a non standard port it cannot find it.

Hi,

OMA uses port 443 to the client and internally 80 I thought. Is there no other service using one ot those ports ?

There is a vpn client on port 443 so I had to change to owa port to something diff.

Hi,

I saw somebody else on this forum who did this also which caused oma not to work anymore. There are 2 options:

- change the vpn-client to another port and assign 443 to OMA
- add an extra IP to the server and assign that one to the OMA.
