Hi all,

Is there a guide for publishing exchange 2007 running windows 2008?

One part where I am slightly confused is the certificate, I have an internal CA which I can get a certificate from but when OWA is published remotely it shows a certificate error. Is this because the certificate root is not in the trusted section of the client computer accessing OWA?
Is the only way to not get a certificate error to buy a certificate from an external source such as comodo?

Yes. To avoid the error you must import your certificate on the client machines, which is ok if you only have a handful of PCs. Otherwise purchase your SSL certificate from a third party.

Everything is documented on Technet. It hasn't changed much from Windows 2003. Get a SAN/UC certificate, import through EMC and then open the ports. It isn't that difficult.
