When I send email via OWA using Exchange 2007 RTM 32-bit, the mail will go straight to the Drafts folder and never be sent. If I use Outlook, it will show in the Sent Items folder, but will never be sent either. I have verified all services are running, including the mail submission service. I have reinstalled the Hub Transport role, but nothing helps. I saw the previous post regarding the same issue, but there was never a posted resolution. If anyone has seen this issue, or has any tips, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks, Thom Foreman
Just as a note to others out there, I have figured out my problem. This is just a test box so I didn't have much space on my C drive, and the Transport service requires 4 GB of free space, so as a last resort fix I changed the following parameter to the EdgeTransport.exe.config file located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server 2007\BIN and then restarted the server:
Of course, you should not do this on a production server, and probably not on a test server either. It would be best to just have lots of space on your server. I hope this helps other people out there.
