Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help with this. We have Exchange 2007 on a 2008 server with IIS7. Today I was trying to get redirect from http to https to work. I tried a few different things but couldn't get it to work so I gave up. I put everything (I think) back to the original way and did an iisreset. Users who use OWA get the logon screen but when they enter their username and password it just waits there. Nothing happens. I did try and enter a wrong password and the screen came back to the logon. I'm not sure what I could have done to mess this up. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tony

After thinking about this. When a user puts in their password and it just stays there. I'm thinking that maybe they are getting authenticated but it's not continuing on the webepage. Anyone?

Can you find the iis log entries generated when you try to use OWA? They will show us what the server is doing when it receives the user request.

Thanks so much for the reply. Can you either point me to a directory or a name of the file? I have an idea where they're located but just want to make sure I post the right thing. Thanks!

Ok I found the log files. Seems like a lot of data to post. What should I look for? Thanks

Here is what I find when someone accesses OWA. There are tons of GET's in the log file.

You are looking really at the 302 part of the log.
443 is the port (https), and 302 is the response that the server is giving, which is a redirect.

Looks like undoing your redirect has not worked correctly.

Hi,
I have corrected this issue. You are correct. I missed a few check boxes after putting things back to the way it was before. I found that when you check off SSL on the "Default Website" it migrates down to the other virtual directories. Some needed to be disabled.
