Ho do I access OWA on the internet using domainname.com/exchagne instead of ipaddress/exchane?? I've already setup SSL ofr OWA. I can access domainname.com/exchange on LAN. Do I have to do some changes in my DNS or on DNS where my domain is being hosted?? Please help Thanx

Have you asked your enternal DNS provider to create a host record entry for you? Without that you will only be able to log on using IP address.

I've an access to change the advanced DNS records for domain at yahoo.. I hope this helps you to understand where I'm .. And now pl. explain where I should or whom should I ask to create a host record entry. If something that has to be done at yahoo please let me know what should I have to change. Thanks again...

Since you registered with Yahoo for your domain name, what about your MX record? is it also with yahoo?? From my understanding you have your SMTP domain "domain.com" registered with yahoo. If so then contact them and ask them to create a MAIL.domain.com host record for that same IP address

From command prompt type nslookup mail.mydomain.com You should get getting your public IP of your Exchange server. If not, go into your yahoo DNS console and update it.

Enter your domain name into dnsreport.com and report all the errors and warnings you get.

you should have bellsouth add an a record (host name) and mx record for your mailserver and setup the nameservers at yahoo to point to bellsouth's nameservers. then all you need to do is add an a record and mx record to your local dns server.
