i am using win2k with sp4 and exchange 2000 with sp3 which is also a d.c and i am having a problem that only from outlook web access, i cannot send emails. from ms.outlook and outlook express every thing is runing fine and ok.

What happens when you try to send mail via OWA?

it just reopen the inbox, with no error msg. no new sent mail is shown in either sent mail or outbox. and msg is also not going to the recipent.
only one error it gives when i open folder in owa that no service ia available

i have install netscape, now it is working with netscape on client end but still not sending emails with internet explorer,
can some body guide me in this regard,

I'm having the same problem, and did some research. It could be 2 things, rights on the mail server and pop up blocker at the client side. Try disabling the pop-up blocker and see what happens. also, take a look at the below link.

i have formated the server and reinstall every thing on the server. i didnt get any solution from any where

Are you sending email to the public internet or to your LAN? How about checking your SMTP service? Or it could be your SMTP server is not running properly.

I have once encountered this problem but under Exchange 5.5, what I did is put the email domain and keep my virtual smtp server running.

It sounds like a rights issue... in IIS make sure that the exchange directories have what permissions they are supposed to (execute scripts, etc.)

But you said it worked fine in Netscape - are you using a proxy server? Did you try IE from several different machines?
